Clay & Paint in Nature, Workshops Part 1&2
Part 1 - Clay & Nature
Saturday August 29th, 10am to midday
Combining the benefit of mindful walking in the woods with the creative expression of your soul. Let nature imprint the clay and create artful patterns.
This workshop is an invitation to pause from daily distractions, engage the senses, and enjoy a grounding creative experience in a peaceful yet playful environment.
As the clay sets and begins to dry, we will also settle down for a peaceful sound bath. No experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to be in the moment. Accessible to any fitness level, as the walk is short, gentle and slow.
All materials included. Picnic blankets available to sit on. Bring a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, long trousers recommended to protect the ankles and legs, although part of the path is wide and clear.
Location: Ruislip Woods. Free parking. Exact location of meeting point will be shared with all participants before the event.
Investment: £25 to attend one workshop or £45 to attend both parts. Only 10 spaces available, please email healingwithrina@gmail.com for bookings and payment.
PLEASE NOTE: In case of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, the workshop fee will be refunded in full.
Part 2 - Paint & Nature
Saturday 5th September, 10am to Midday
Hosted by Rina, Laura and Alison. Returning to the woods to sit peacefully and paint your clay creations, completing our soulful journey, with chats and nibbles. If you couldn't attend the first part, do not worry, we will have extras.
As the paint dries and settles, we will wander around collecting moss, sticks, leaves, pine cones, mushrooms.... Anything that inspires you. At the end of the workshop, you will have everything you need to create beautiful decorations for your plants and pots or anything else you can think of.
